April 11, 1953 ' April 16, 2007 Peggy Ruth Bond was a longtime resident of Houston where she lived with her loving husband John Bond.
Peggy enjoyed life. She had a variety of hobbies that included cooking, reading, spending time with friends and attending the Renaissance Festival. Peggy loved to talk to people and she listened with her heart. She was a friend, a mother, a counselor and advisor to all who knew her. Anywhere she went she found a friend.
Her surviving family consists of her husband, John Bond; younger sister, Ruby Hendricks; younger brother, Jessie Hendricks, both of LeBlanc, Louisiana; two daughters, Dawna Brandt of Houston and Kimberly Bailey of Pearland
and an adoptive son, Michael Scarbro of Woodlands.
She had three brothers'in-law, David and Allan Bond of Houston and Michael Bond of Haworth, Oklahoma.
She was met by her son, Jeffery Bailey, granddaughter, Avery Grice, mother, Viola Marie Swire and her dog Butterscotch.
She will be truly missed.
