Mr. Pedro Beltran Salinas' Obituary
Funeral Services for Pedro B Salinas will be held on Thursday the 22 nd at South Park Funeral Home located at 1310 North Main St. Pearland, TX 77581. His viewing will be from 12 pm – 8pm. The Rosary service will be from 7pm-8pm. Pete was born in Goliad, TX to Vicente and Juanita Salinas on September 13, 1941. Pete had been a resident of Texas all his life. He died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the age of seventy-six.
Pete had a passion for carpentry, cooking, tejano music, dancing and fishing. He never met a stranger. He always had a very good sense of humor and enjoyed being a jokester. He enjoyed playing Gen Rummy and Domino's even if he changed the rules on his own. He loved his wife and family wholeheartedly and aside from his playful mentality he was always loving and caring. He always did his best to make sure he helped guide his family down the right path and helped mold them to become the best they could be.
Pete is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Eva A. Sauceda, Sons; Lucio and Anette Sauceda, Ricky and Olivia Sauceda, Jerry and Francisca Sauceda, Daniel and Connie Cantu, Ricky and Daena Salinas, Pete Salinas, Ronnie and Nancy Salinas, Jeffery and Lorrie Salinas and his only daughter Sue Ann Escobedo and Husband Bobby. He leaves behind a total of Thirty-four grand children and fifty-two great grand children. He also leaves behind brothers; Enrique and Amelia Salinas, Ruben and Deana Salinas, Lupe and Elena Salinas, Ernesto and Virginia Salinas along with his sister Ofelia Salinas.
He is proceeded in death with his parents Vicente and Juanita Salinas, son Donnie Salinas, daughter in law Luisa Salinas, brother in law Flororencio Briseno and grand children Stephen Ferrel and Sophia Ferrel.
