Mrs. Pearl L. Stout's Obituary
Letha Pearl Stout Letha Pearl (Barnette) Stout, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away September 5, 2007. Pearl spent her early years in Louisiana with her sisters and brother. She graduated in 1928 from Crowly High School. Pearl was employed at Houston Natural Gas before WWII and Hughes Tool during the war. She was later employed in the Sales group at Sheffield Steel, which became Armco, from 1945-1972. She retired from Armco and moved to Pasadena to be closer to her family in La Porte. She loved to work in her garden and flowerbeds, keeping up with the news and soap operas. Pearl spent the last two years in the Regency Village in Webster. She was an active member of Sunset United Methodist Church since 1953. She is preceded in death by daughter, Betty Jean Weatherford and son-in-law Richard; sisters, Inez Watson and Bonnie Kline; brother, Frank Barnette, Jr., and great-granddaughter, Victoria Ebarb. She is survived by granddaughters, Julia Ebarb and husband Mark, Jeanne Guthrie and husband Mike, and Karen Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Craig, and Trina Wood, Catherine Ebarb, Kayla (Guthrie) Kranz, Gabrielle and Hayley Guinn; great-great-granddaughter, Adrianne Kranz; nieces, Mary Louise Reagan and husband Joe, Barbara Crowley and husband Don, Gerry Perkins and Patsy Pelkins. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 ' 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 7th, 2007. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
