Paulette Jones Barbles' Obituary
Paulette Jones Barbles passed away peacefully into Jesus' arms. She was a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Eva Mae and Chester Lamar Jones, she and her twin sister, Annette, had three other siblings. Her love of family and friends was undeniable, often welcoming everyone for Wednesday night dinners and other social gatherings. She was blessed to raise her 4 sons, John Richard Autenreith, Kurt J Autenreith, Michael Edward Autenreith, and James "Jim" Robert Autenreith. She and her husband of 28 years, Gary Barbles, created a beautiful, blended family, with the addition of Gary's children, Chris, Jeffrey, and Courtney. Paulette was fondly known as "NiNi", especially to her 14 grandchildren. She was a faithful, longtime member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. She had several vocations in her life, including residential real estate. Paulette will be remembered for her raspy voice, loud laugh, and witty personality. Preceded in death by father, Chester Lamar, mother, Eva Mae, twin sister, Annette Mogabgab. Survived by husband Gary; son John Richard (wife Joy), son Kurt (wife Kelly), son Michael (wife Susan), son Jim (wife Elizabeth); stepchildren, Chris Barbles (wife Shirley), Jeffrey Barbles (wife Ashley), Courtney Barbles; grandchildren, Greer, Adele, Ava, Emma, Mitch, Cameron, Ford, Avery, Ellis, Laine, Madison, Valeria, Fiorella, and Bryan; siblings, Jaunea Ford (husband Ken), Brenda Vallejo (husband Joe), Lamar Jones Jr. (wife Lori). Memorial service will be held on May 18, 2024, 10 a.m., at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay, Houston, TX 77024, with a celebration of life immediately following at The Spot, 4818 Dacoma, Houston, TX 77092.
