Mr. Paul Pompa Estrada's Obituary
Celebration of life Paul Pompa Estrada.
He was Born in Houston,Texas on January 31, 1955. He lived in Pearland, Texas until his passing 2/7/20. He attended Houston Technical Institute and prior to graduation volunteered to the U.S Navy June 12,1972 at the age of 17. He served on the U.S.S San Bernadino LST 1189 and was deployed to Vietnam. He was later stationed in San Diego, California until his discharge in May 1975 . He received a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Medal with one Bronze Star . He married his wife Sonia on April 3, 1976 at Resurrection Catholic Church and they were married for 43 years. He worked in the family business, Dental Prosthetics Dental Lab, side by side with his father Pablo as a certified Dental Technician for over 30 years until his retirement. After retirement he enjoyed fishing at the Texas City Dike and Galveston, Texas. Waking up to say good morning to his dog Ariel everyday. He also enjoyed playing Xbox video games such as Call of Duty & Madden NFL. He recently discovered how to use You Tube and enjoyed listening to his favorite music groups Chicago, The Carpenters, The Bangles, and Bruno Mars. Preceded in death by his parents Pablo Estrada and Georgia Estrada. He is survived by wife Sonia Estrada, children Paul Brian Estrada III, Brenda Estrada and husband Ivan Alvarado, his beloved grandson Nathan Estrada-Carmona. Son-in-law Manuel Carmona and wife Jessica and grandson Jacob. As well as grandchildren Julianne, David and Elijah. Survived by his siblings Victor, wife Viola, Claudio, Norma, Joel, Marcello and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul was a generous, kind, funny and loving husband,father,brother and friend to all that knew him. May he rest in peace and be our guardian angel in heaven.
