Mrs. Patty Dando's Obituary
Patricia “Patty” Dando, entered into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on February 11, 2020 in Pearland, Texas at the age of 79 years old. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 16, 1941.
Patty was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She met her husband, Tony Dando 54 years ago in November 1965 at Bill Williams Drive Inn in Houston, Texas. Her many hobbies included her family, tending to the beautiful flowers in the yard; which were her pride and joy, she also loved taking care of her cats and dogs. Patty sat on the Board at Pearland Little League where she volunteered many hours, and started A-Anthony Aluminum Products with her husband in 1974 doing sales/accounting. Later in life worked in outside sales at Ozarka Water. In the early 2000’s, she got a Texas Real Estate License and sold homes in the Pearland area.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Anna Mason of Houston, Texas, whom she dearly missed.
Patty will always be remembered by her husband of 52 years; daughter Amber Schwartz of Lake Zurich, Illinois, husband Darryl Schwartz, grandsons Zach and Jake Schwartz; son Lance Royall of Texas City, Texas, wife Sharon Royall, granddaughter Gina Baldes, husband Pete Baldes and great granddaughter Polly Baldes; son Patrick Dando of Pearland, Texas, wife Connie Dando, grandsons Mason and Connor Dando. Caring and loving sister in law May Dando of Pearland, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends, and her loving companion Sissy. We are forever indebted to the wonderful care provided at Windsong Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Patty fought a long difficult battle with Alzheimer’s, but a stroke in December 2019 was too much to overcome. She was cared for by her dedicated husband who never left her side.
The Dando family will be receiving friends and family on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 starting at 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM for a visitation at South Park Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will continue Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at South Park Funeral Home with the interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be
thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
