Patsy Alice Houser's Obituary
Patsy Alice Trexler Houser, 71, of Houston, Texas, died May 9, 2010, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving husband, family, and close friends. Pat is survived by her husband, Jack Houser; her son Jimmy Carl Treece (Cathy) of The Woodlands; her daughter Terri Cavazos (John) of Houston; her stepdaughters Debra Houser Sanford (Scott) and Amy Houser Bodak of Houston; eight grandchildren: Michele Treece, Tiffany Treece, Mariah Treece, Brittany Cavazos, Alycia Cavazos, Chance Sanford (Denise), Kathy Bodak, Lindsey Bodak, and one great granddaughter Madeline Angela. Pat had a long-term career in banking in Houston. She loved her work and had a special relationship with her customers and colleagues. When not working or making frequent trips to Arkansas, Pat and Jack traveled extensively in both the United States and the Caribbean Islands, often sharing these trips with friends. Born in Nevada County, Arkansas, Pat spent most of her early years in the Emmet area. She had a close relationship with her family and maintained that relationship through frequent visits home and lengthy telephone calls. Pat had an unconditional love for her family and friends. She and her husband Jack were renowned for their hospitality and fine meals. Following services in Houston, interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas, on May 14 early morning under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home..
