Patricia Jean Weaver's Obituary
Patricia Jean Weaver, 96, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Pearland, Texas. She was born on November 10, 1929, to Alvah and Eunice Peterson in Saticoy, California. She was the oldest of four girls who were raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area.
After graduating high school, she earned an ABA at a local college. During the early part of her career, she spent time in banking and later changed to human resources when her family moved to Texas. For the next 30 years she built a career in the Medical Center, retiring as HR Director. She was respected for her integrity, fairness, wisdom, and genuine care for the people she served. Her leadership reflected the same compassion and character that defined every aspect of her life.
Above all else, Patricia was devoted to her family and the church. She poured her heart into those she loved, offering encouragement, acceptance, and unconditional support. She never spoke ill of others, choosing instead to offer kindness, understanding, and compassion. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, and her greatest joy was seeing her family grow and flourish. Her church was more than a place of worship, it was a community she cherished, serving with humility, generosity, and a willing spirit.
Patricia leaves behind countless cherished memories and an example of a life lived with purpose, humility, and unwavering devotion to God. Her legacy will continue to shape generations to come.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Eugene Weaver and survived by her children Wesley (Sherri) Weaver and Christine (Jeff) Sadler. Grandchildren Jennifer (John) Engel, Danielle Sanchez, Jordan (Kylie) Sadler, Devin (Morgan) Sadler, and Easton Sadler. Great-grandchildren Lennon Weaver, Jackson Engel, Calvin Sanchez, Lillian Sadler, Bruce Sadler, and Walter Sadler.
Visitation will be held at Southpark Funeral Home in Pearland, Tx. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. A celebration of life service will follow at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local church, food pantry, or Isaiah 117 House Brazoria Tx.
