Patricia Angela Yeeloy Howard, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 28th 2024 after a sudden decline in health and her family is profoundly saddened.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. The funeral arrangements are being handled by South Park Funeral Home.
Patricia was born in Trinidad and Tobago on November 16th 1955. She moved to Brooklyn, New York to pursue a higher education. She graduated from Long Island University and New York Institute of Technology. After receiving many accolades in New York, she moved to Texas with her family.
Patricia was married to Wayne Howard on January 27th. They knew each other for 50 years.
Patricia worked as an accountant for the University of Houston for more than 30 years. She also worked as a tax consultant as well as a real estate agent. She was a godly woman who enjoyed going to church, spending time with family, and relaxing by the beach.
Patricia is survived by Wayne Howard, her husband, Ansil Howard, her oldest son, Azize Howard, her second son, Arndreya Howard, her youngest daughter, and Iesha Liverpool her step-daughter. Her husband gave her strength during the rough times and laughter and joy all of the time. Patricia loved her husband more than words could describe and was proud of her husband in every way. She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit and unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her mother, father, husband, children, grandchildren, entire family and countless others.
She was one of eight children: Kathleen Humphreys (sister), Franklin Thomas (brother, deceased), Ingrid Elahie (sister, deceased), Bernedette Williams (sister), Dean Winchester (brother), Jacqueline Yeeloy (sister), Pete Winchester (brother). She leaves four siblings behind as well as many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but she also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. Even at the end, she found a way to smile and laugh. Patricia will be remembered for her fervor for life and all its opportunity.
When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and love for those who went before her. She will be missed dearly.
The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.
