Owietta Louise Slebodnik's Obituary
Owietta Slebodnik, 92, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 5, 2025.
Owietta would tell you her greatest accomplishment was being able to stay home and raise her 5 children. Being a military wife, she was able to travel the world. While living in Okinawa, she served as the Chaplin for the American Legion during the Vietnam War era. The beautiful prayer book she created was proudly displayed at the American Legion in Hawaii for many years. Her lifetime love of photography lead her to create over 100 photos albums, which kept her family connected, and they will forever have beautiful photo memories to cherish. Many times, she took on the role of grandmother to those that needed her.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
Until we meet again.
