Oommen, Oommen T's Obituary
Mr. Oommen T. Oommen (Raju) was born on January 26, 1955 in Kerala, India. He was the first child of the late K.O. Oommen and late Sosamma Oommen. He was a born again, Christian, baptized in water and the Holy Spirit and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He got married to Miss Lissykutty Samuel on October 2, 1978 in Kerala, India and together they settled in United Arab Emirates from 1980 to 1990 where he was an entrepreneur and a contractor. During this time Brother Raju helped establish churches in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, AlAin and Dubai. In 1990 he came to the United States, where he and his family settled in Houston, Texas. Here he pursued his business endeavors, and also dedicated his life to serving the Lord, often supporting and opening his home to international evangelists, and ministers from Africa and parts of Asia. His devotion and personal relationship with the Lord inspired many.
He leaves to cherish his memories by his wife, Lissykutty Oommen, daughters, July Oommen (Sam Abraham), Janey Oommen, Jemie Oommen, grandchildren Siju Abraham, Sean Abraham, Aliyanah Boggess, Josiah Abraham, Jessica Abraham, Carter Oliver, and Nathaniel Oliver, four brothers, Pastor T.O. (Mini) Jacob, T.O. James (Reena) Oommen, T.O. Johnson (Janie) Oommen, T.O. Sajan (Daisy) Oommen, and one sister Jolly Joys (Joy Christian) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
