Born on March 3, 1941 in Karnes City, Texas
Her parents were Simon Valdez and Delores (Lola) Aleman Valdez Olivia often reminisced about her childhood working on the farm and the value her parents instilled in her which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Olivia had a huge heart with much love to share with family and friends that every person she came to know held a very special place in her heart. In 1986 her dream of owning her own restaurant came to life. Olivia’s Mexican Restaurant became a place where not only did you come for the delicious food but for the warm and loving hospitality that Olivia provided. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
