Mr. Octaviano Banda 's Obituary
Octaviano Banda, 75, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital. He is survived by His wife of 57 years of marriage Oralia Banda. Octaviano was born in Concepcion del Oro, Zacatecas, Mexico to Severiano and Leonor Salas-Banda. He lived most of his life in Houston, Texas surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Octaviano was a great man of faith which He guide his family in a deep Catholic Faith. Being a passionate, loving and humble man who enjoyed being around His family. In his spare time, he enjoyed working around His house, playing card games, playing loteria and watching western movies (Clint Eastwood being one of his favorite western actor) and TV action movies (Charles Bronson another of his favorite actors). He enjoyed watching telenovelas along His wife Oralia. He enjoyed eating pan dulce (Mexican pastries) especially cemitas and marranitos.
Everything He did was along side His life-long partner and best friend of 57 years Oralia.
Octaviano was extremely loving and proud of his five children, Lorena, Octavio, Nora Imelda, Enrique and Elizabeth. He is also survived by His daughter-in-law Mari and His sons-in-laws Melesio and Nahun. His grandchildren Ashley Annette (Felix), Julian Alfredo, Enrique Jr. (Yaritza), Bella Laura, Kimberly Oralia, Lorena Raquel and Octaviano Angel. His great-great-grandchildren Felix Aiden, Sofia Coraima, and Enrique III. As well as his many loving brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
