Mrs. Norma Jean Cooper's Obituary
Norma Jean Cooper, age 81, passed away peacefully February 25, 2019 due to an acute onset illness. She was born February 17, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Wilbur E. “Jack” Reynolds and Ruby Pearl Fletcher. She married her longtime friend and love, Jim Cooper and enjoyed 20 years of marriage together.
Norma loved spending time with her grandchildren and celebrated with all their successes. She shared her love to cook, bake, sew and play the piano. She was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed her special circle of friends.
Her life was a living example of one of her many favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Norma is survived by her daughter Stephanie and husband Matt Jones, her son Edward and wife Margaret; grandchildren Kendall Jones, Reed Jones, and Sara Stribling. She is predeceased by her brothers Norman Newberry and Gary Reynolds. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
