Norma Ann Burkett's Obituary
Norma Ann Burkett, 89, of Pearland, TX., born December 31, 1931 in Houston, TX, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, May 7, 2021. Norma was a mother of four children, housewife and business owner. She loved to shop and eat out, whenever she left the house, she was always dressed up. In her younger years, she was quite the shot with her pistol, always protecting her family. Norma was preceded in death by the love of her life for over 50 years, Rev. Jackie Burkett, her parents, Clyde Ellis Wade and Lea Anna Ardrey, daughter-in-law, Debbie K. Burkett and her companion Alex.
Mrs. Burkett is survived by her daughters, Linda D. Burkett of Manvel, TX, and Joy L. Marrow and husband David of Alvin, TX; sons, Danny S. Burkett of Cleveland, TX, and Garnell C. Burkett and wife Maggie of Churchill, TX. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Katrina Jones and husband Johnny, Kimberly Mauch and husband, Gary, BJ Hutson, Matthew Montgomery, Denise Caramanna and husband, Chase, Becky Burkett, Danette Rangel and husband, Ismael, Delaina Culver and husband, Luke, Daryl Stiener and Dru Stiener; and her 22 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021 in the chapel of South Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in South Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dru Stiener, Daryl Stiener, David Marrow, Matthew Montgomery, Mark Kreft and Chase Caramanna.
