Noemi Munoz Gonzalez's Obituary
Noemi Munoz Gonzalez, age 65, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2023 in Webster, Texas.
Noemi was born in Falfurrius, Texas on February 9, 1958 to Erasmo and Julia Munoz. She graduated from Rivera Kaufer High School in 1976.
Noemi married Tomas Gonzalez Sr on May 18, 1979. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this year.
Noemi spent many years working at a daycare, where she loved her job of taking care of children. She loved the children so much and believed in treating them all the same and showing them love because she said you never knew what they went home to. Noemi took pride in her family and loved them immensely. Later in life, she spent her days devoting her time to taking care of her family and their home.
Noemi is survived by her husband Tomas Gonzalez Sr, daughter Jeanette Gonzalez, son Tomas Gonzalez Jr and wife Mandy, grandchildren Elizabeth Ochoa, Tomas Ochoa, Ryan Gonzalez, Kelsie Gonzalez, and Kash Gonzalez, brothers Mario Munoz, Erasmo Munoz III and wife Diana, Mike Munoz and wife Daria, Ernesto Munoz and wife Dina, Leonel Munoz and wife Irma, and David Munoz, sisters Ofelia Munoz, Agapita Hinojosa and husband Augestine, Hortencia Sandoval and husband Ray and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Noemi was preceded in death by her parents, Erasmo Munoz, Jr and Julia Jiminez Munoz and one sister, Ernestina Munoz.
Services for Noemi will be held at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm on Friday, July 28, 2023. The funeral services will take place at 10am on Saturday, July 29, 2023 with graveside services immediately following.
