I remember this one time we were going on a hike at this park, it was getting dark, so we decided to head back to the car. Alex couldn't find his house keys. We looked all through my car, but they weren't there. We came to the conclusion that he had dropped them somewhere along the path, so i told him "lets just go back and retrace our steps and we'll find them". As we were about to head back to the path, this police officer pulls up and said we had to leave because the park was closed. I explained to the officer what had happened, but he wouldn't budge. So we said our goodbyes to the officer and drove away. I told Alex, "we're going back to get your keys. lets just wait until the cop leaves". We drove around the area for a minute or 2 and then we headed back to the park. Lo and behold, the officer was not there anymore. We parked the car in a safe place and snuck our way back into the woods. With only the flashlights on our phones, we retraced our steps and there were the keys!! Yay!! Alex could get back into his apartment!!
I love you so much brother. I'm going to miss all the adventures we had. I'm going to miss your kind and generous spirt, your sense of humor. You were the best friend i ever had and i am so grateful to have had you in my life. We will miss you always.
