Mr. Neils K. Kanstrup Jr.'s Obituary
Neils K. Kanstrup, Jr., 77, of Kingwood, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Kanstrup was born November 17, 1940 in Houston, Texas. He served 6 years in the US Airforce and was a retired Sgt. with the Pasadena Police Department, serving the City of Pasadena from 1966 ~ 1996. Mr. Kanstrup was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his, son, Neils K. Kanstrup III; parents, Neils K. Kanstrup, Sr. and Norene Nellis Kanstrup. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary E. Jones Kanstrup; daughters, Marla Ann Bordelon, Melanie Noel Brechtel; sons-in-law, Michael Bordelon, Jay Brechtel; granddaughter, Baylee Noel Brechtel; grandson, Cooper Neilsen Brechtel; sibling, Dolly Kanstrup, and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 19, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.
