Nancy Marie Cunningham Bastian's Obituary
Nancy Marie Bastian of Georgetown, IN passed away peacefully on May 23 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in San Antonio, TX on August 8,1937 to the late Bart and Marie Cunningham. She was raised in Houston, TX and her favorite activity growing up was swinging! A graduate of Lamar Highschool, she attended Sam Houston State University and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. There she met and married her best friend and soulmate of 62 years, (the late) Earnest Bastian Jr. She worked at Hildebrandt Junior High in Spring, TX for 3 years in administration after which she joined Earnie at Earnest Bastian & Associates from 1984-2018. Nancy was one of the founding members of Klein United Methodist Church in Spring, TX where she was very involved in many activities and especially enjoyed being a youth leader with the Methodist Youth Foundation. When her kids were in school, she also was involved with the PTA. She loved her family with her whole heart, often putting their needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed shopping, adventures and spending time with family and friends, and in the early years, at the lake house in Conroe, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Bart and Marie, husband Ernie, and her sister Judy Wilson. She is survived by her 2 children, Teresa & Darrell, 4 grandchildren, Amber, Angel, Autumn, & Anna. Three great grandchildren, Joey, Elijah and Anastasia (on the way) and many nieces and nephews.
