Mrs. Mozelle Bray's Obituary
Mozelle Bray, 90, of Houston, TX passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 following a brief illness and complications from Alzheimers. She and her twin sister, Vernell, were born on November 13, 1926 in Clebourne, TX to Mary Inez Raines. Mozelle graduated from Milby High School in Houston in 1946. Mozelle and Vernell were always known as "the twins" and they shared an amazingly close bond to one another their entire lives and they lived together the past twelve years.
Mozelle married Gerald Bray on December 24, 1946 and began her life as a loving wife. Her greatest mission in life was providing comfort and care to her loved ones and she showed them the value of faith and family. Mozelle volunteered through 'Ladies of Yellow' at Ben Taub Hospital in the pediatric unit during the 1960's.
Mozelle is proceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bray; grandson, Darren Bray; mother, Mary Inez Worden and sister, Margurette White. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Bray and wife Linda; daughters, Beverly Cook and Shirley LeBlanc, and grandchildren, Todd Bray and Traci Bray, all of Houston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mozelle believed strongly in the Lord and was always happiest when worshipping on Sundays and Wednesdays at Sagemont Church. Our precious Mama will be greatly missed by family and friends, but everyone will be comforted knowing she is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior.
