Mildred Louise Orlando's Obituary
Mildred Louise Orlando, 74, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of December 9, 2020. Mildred was born in Houston, TX on August 26, 1946, graduated from St. Pius X High School in 1964, and retired after nearly 30 years of owning and operating a successful beauty salon while simultaneously driving a bus for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Mildred was a loving wife, mother and “Gigi”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Orlando, her parents, Bascom and Katherine Gremillion, sisters, Helen Hart and Jeanette Howard and sister-in-law, Judy Orlando. She is survived by sons Michael Orlando and wife Sara, Paul Orlando and wife Stephanie, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren: Luke, Jacob, Beau, Zachary, Sadie and Grace Orlando. Also left to cherish her memory are brothers and sisters in law, Darrell and Anthanette Fowler, Nicky and Paulette Sacco, David and Tonya Orlando, numerous nieces and nephews and some very special friends. The family will receive visitors Monday, December 14, 2020, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30pm at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Saint Helen Catholic Church in Pearland. Visitation beginning at 9:00 am with a Eulogy at 9:30 and Mass at 10:00. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.southparkfunerals.com.
