Michael Ray King's Obituary
Michael Ray King, age 69, went to be with his Lord on December 31, 2017 at his home in Houston.
Mike was born on January 4, 1948 to Morris and Frances King in Galveston, TX. He was the oldest son of three children: brother Clifton King and sister Debbie Criss. He graduated from Texas City High School in 1966 and went on to Alvin Junior College. He graduated from University of Houston where he earned his accounting degree. His career included over 20 years as a State Farm Agent in Pearland. His greatest loves in life were his two daughters, grandchildren and nephews.
He is survived by his two daughters, Leslee Walker, husband Garrett and Abby Skowron, husband Mark as well as four grandchildren: Abygail, Emmye, Miller and Ella; and his sister Debbie Criss. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Clifton King.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM at South Park Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by John Mark Benson, Associate Pastor at Sagemont Church. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
