Melvin Lee Wiggins' Obituary
Melvin Lee (Billy) Wiggins was born May 27, 1932 in Houston, Texas and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Pearland, Texas.
Billy was always very active in church, playing the piano and organ. In his early years, he played the accordion. He loved life and music, but mostly loved his family, particularly his grandchildren and great children.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Lloyd and Lelia Fern Wiggins, brothers Harold and R.L. Wiggins, and sisters Crystal and Naomi Lee Wiggins, and Lenora Powell.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Wiggins, and sister Janis Fore. He is also survived by son Steven and wife Shumei, daughter Sheryl and husband Breck, and son Duane and fiance Anna; grandchildren Craig and wife Sabrina, Corey, Hannah and husband Adam, Hunter, William, Tzuchen and Thomas; great grandchildren Casey, Chris, and Colby; and many other family members and life long friends.
The family will receive friends at freedom Fellowship Church 1201 N. Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017, followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at South Park Cemetery
