Mrs. Maurine Wilmore's Obituary
Maurine Edith Wilmore, 88, of Houston, Texas passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013. She was born in Bay City, Texas on September 19, 1924. Maurine was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pasadena, Texas. Mrs. Wilmore was a loving and caring person to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing dominoes, bingo, and drinking coffee on her porch. Maurine will be remembered for her love of family, hummingbirds, traveling, gambling, country and gospel music. Maurine is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; parents Claude & Beatrice Plant; birth mother Pearl Follis; daughter Donna Bailey and husband, Darrell; grandson, Chris Greenlee; brothers, Joe Plant, Robert Plant and George Goss; sister, Betty Bradley. Mrs. Wilmore is survived by her son, Don Wilmore and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Gayla Stokes; Terry Wilmore and wife Jonne'; Stacy Jeter and husband, Scott; Steven Greenlee and wife, Christi; Kevin Bailey and wife, Darla; Keith Bailey and spouse, Jon McGuire; Dana Frederick and husband, Robert; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Scott and husband, Jack; Juanita Nance; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Goss and Harriett Plant; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Bradley; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
