LCpl. Matthew Lee Gonzales' Obituary
LCpl. Matthew Lee Gonzales, 21, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Fredricksburg, Virginia. Matthew was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He attended Pearland High School and was a graduate of Seaborne Challenge Corp. Galveston. In 2004 he enlisted in the Marine Corp. and served 2 years in Okinawa, Japan. His current duty station was Quantico Marine Base in Virginia where he and his wife resided. Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Eusavio 'Sam' Gonzales. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Elizabeth Gonzales; mother, Lydia Gonzales; maternal mother, Penny Gomez; brothers, Gilbert Gomez, Larry Dean Gomez, and Roy Gonzales; sisters, Sammie Williams, Shelly Junek, Cindy Richardson, and Sandra Dilley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
