Mary Bufkin Williams' Obituary
Mary Sue (Bufkin) Williams passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born in Stringer, Mississippi on January 11, 1928 and moved to Houston in 1955. Mary married Milton Williams, who passed away in 2007.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband; daughter, Kay Williams; parents, Ira and Ella Bufkin; sister, Lucille Pickens; three brothers, I.V. Bufkin, Wilbur D. Bufkin, and Hughie Bufkin.
Left to cherish her memory is her only living daughter, Doris Lominac; granddaughter, Carol Welch and her husband Eddie; grandson, Kyle Lominac; great grandchildren, Madison Welch, Kaylee Lominac; sister, Jean Sumrall; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was an avid traveler, having been to Alaska twice, all over the Caribbean, Mexico and many places in the United States. She loved going to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and anywhere there was a slot machine. She also loved going to the lake house and the gulf, fishing and spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends for a graveside service on Wednesday, September 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf FWY, Webster, Texas 77598. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
