Mrs. Mary Lou Upton's Obituary
Mary Lou Chambers-Upton, 49, born Sept. 11, 1959 in Pasadena, TX, to Billy Bob and Patricia Chambers, passed away June 21, 2009 in Houston, TX after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her father Billy Bob Chambers. Her survivors include her spouse of 25years, Brett Upton; children, Jerod and Sadie Upton; mother, Patricia Chambers-Ford; brother, Robert Chambers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy & Louis Vogtman and Becky & Steve Sapaugh; mother-in-law, Nita Upton; brother-in-law, Steve Upton and wife Karen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many, many friends. Mary Lou was born and raised in Pasadena, TX, graduated from Pasadena High School and was a member of the Eagle Escorts. She was also involved in various sports and church activities. Mary Lou later moved to the Pearland/Friendswood area with her family. Her love for life kept her very active especially with her family. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and any sports that her children participated in. Mary Lou enjoyed trips to Galveston and time in the sun and sand with her family. We will always cherish our family gatherings at Christmas, Easter and other occasions. Lou will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend and she will be truly missed by all.
