Mrs. Mary Dee Sullivan's Obituary
Mary Dee Sullivan
Obituary Mary Margaret Dee Sullivan, born November 3, 1921, passed peacefully at her home in Houston, Texas on September 17, 2012. She was born in New Orleans, the daughter of John & Kate Dee. She attended Incarnate Word University, married Thomas Clayton Sullivan, Jr. and had eight children. When her precious husband died in 1969, she raised her family with strength, courage, and grace. Through it all, she was the rock of her family, guiding all with support that never wavered. She gave the greatest gift of all--her undying love that was unconditional. She is survived by her children and in-laws Jimmy Sullivan & Gerrie; Kathy Hayden & Mike; Tim Sullivan; Patti Sullivan & Virginia; Kelley Sullivan & Patricia; Carol Sullivan; Colleen Shaklovitz & Paul; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Sullivan III. The family offers a special thanks to the people who assisted in caring for Mary and became a special part of our lives in her final months. Jamie, Angela, and all the special people from Heart to Heart Hospice; and our true gift from God caregiver, Myriam Simon--words cannot express how grateful we are for you. We will miss you, Mom. May God bless you with a special place by His side, and may every night in Heaven be "Beer Night." We love you so much. Visitation & Memorial Service
