Mary Alice Sheffield, born April 1, 1919 in Noxapater, Mississippi passed away on March 26, 2011. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bordeaux Elwood Sheffield.
She is survived by her son, John J. Sheffield and wife Anna Marie; grandchildren, Jason Sheffield and wife Shannon, Victoria Wimberley and husband Glen, Angela Nelson and fiance Greg Hamilton, Jennifer Anderson, William Spacek, James Spacek and John Erin Sheffield and wife Kathleen; great-grandchildren, Katherine Kretzschmar, Andreana Spacek, Chayton Sheffield, Kayla Sheffield and Joseph Sheffield; great-great-granddaughter, Ila Kretzschmar; son-in-law, Bill Spacek and wife Mary; niece, Trista Byrd and husband Danny; a host of other family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the SouthPark Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home with burial to follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
