Mrs. Mary Alberta Riley's Obituary
Mary A. Riley went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was born in Nederland, Texas on November 14, 1922 to Hampton and Lottie Gilmore Lockler. Mary spent most of her life in Houston and was a teacher for many years with special needs children. She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church now St. Luke's Gethsemane Campus United Methodist Church. After retiring Mary became a world traveler, spending time traveling the world with her brothers and sister. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl T. Sears and Willard A. Riley, her sisters Lottie Tanner, Ann McFarland, and Marguerite Cromwell, and brothers Alton Lockler and William Cromwell. She is survived by numerous nephews, a niece, and several grand nieces and grand nephews and many, many friends. The family asks that instead of flowers you make a donation to St. Luke's Gethsemane Campus UMC or to your local church.
