Mrs. Mary Frances Redmon's Obituary
Mary Frances Redmon, 80, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Pearland, TX. She was born on May 2, 1935 in Palestine, Texas to James Edward Pyle and Clara Mae Purdy Pyle. She grew up in Houston and attended Reagan High School. She worked for Entex for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed bird-watching and gardening, was an avid reader, and she loved to travel. She was a founding member of Grace United Methodist Church in Manvel, Texas. She later attended Lakewood United Methodist Church in Northwest Houston.
She is survived by her five children, Deborah Center and husband Christian, John Arnold and wife Debbie, Jeanne Searle and husband Andy, Carl Arnold and wife Christina and Brian Arnold and wife Robin; 12 grandchildren, Eric, Travis, John Jr., Jason, Lauren, Amy, Cassandra, Candace, Claire, Amanda, Bradley, Chad and Nick; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lewis Redmon, her sisters Marjorie Evelyn Koczwanski and Joyce Bernice McMullin.
The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday evening, December 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. Interment will immediately follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
