Mary Eleanor Miksch's Obituary
Mary Eleanor Miksch "Honey", 84 years old, of Pearland, Tx, passed away on September 29, 2022.
Mary was born in Bentonia, MS, on October 26, 1937. She graduated from Austin High School and continued to receive an Associate Degree from Massey Business College in October of 1956.
Mary was married to Norman on August 29, 1958; they were married for 64 years.
Mary worked as a stenographer for Texaco for three years; she then became a full time homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her husband, children and family. She loved to cook, sew and garden. She was involved in her church and enjoyed the Joy class and teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
Mary is survived by her husband, Norman Miksch; son Douglas and wife Marci Miksch, daughter in law, Sandra Miksch; grandchildren Lauren and Stephen Frasure, Adam and Brooke Miksch, Tara and Chris Meng; great grandchild, Keith Meng; sister in laws, Laura Danek and Betty Lewis; nieces and nephews, Nelson and Rene' Lewis, Tommie and Dave Ashlock, Missy and Jack Hutson, Becky Long and; great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Esther Lewis; brothers Thomas Lewis and Sammie Lewis and son, Danny Miksch.
