Mary Ellen Hall Carrico Wiggins' Obituary
Mary Ellen Wiggins (Hall, Carrico), 88 years of age, of Houston Texas, passed away on August 3, 2023.
The funeral services will be held at 10:00 CST August 12, 2023, at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland Texas. Pastors Mark Hughes of Greater Life Church and John Hopkins of Life Tabernacle. will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:00 August 12, 2023, at South Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at South Park Cemetery at 11:00.
Mary Ellen was born in Houston Texas on December 6, 1934. She was married to Billy (William Robert) Carrico for 21 years and then ma rried to George (Arthur) Wiggins for over 30 years.
Mary Ellen enjoyed crafts and made a business of this, traveling the country with her daughter, Sheree, and husband, George. Her other work included “combing” church ladies’ long hair into beautiful up-dos. She was active in church and always serving others. You felt better after just being in her presence.
Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Bobby and Candy Carrico, stepdaughter, Marsha Dobson, sixteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four nephews, eight nieces, sister and brother-in-law Carolyn, Virginia, Dorothy, Fred, Larry and many other family members and friends.
Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her parents Ted Hall and Margie Mansell, husbands Billy Carrico and George Wiggins, daughter Sheree Dobson, brother Buddy Hall along with many others waiting for her on the other side.
