Mary was a member of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena. She grew up on a 100 acre farm a few miles from Henderson out in the country. Milk was fresh from the cow and vegetables were fresh from the garden or last seasons canning. She attended Henderson High School and held a part time job at the five and dime store. As a young girl she was Saved and Baptized at a little Baptist Church about a mile down the road from their house up on the hill. In the summer, the church had half a dozen antique ceiling fans humming, all of the windows open, and the Pastor sweating faster than he could towel himself dry. Family gatherings included a lot of dominoes and listening to the radio.
The family of Mary Foshee express their sincere gratitude to the staff and caregivers of Rosemont Assisted Living, for the loving care and attention our Mom received while in their care during these last months. Kathy, Marissa, Charlotte, Samantha, Kat, Maggie, Jennifer, Deana, Joyce, Clover, Ginger, Karen, Valerie, Rowena, Diana, Jackie and Rochelle just to name a few.
And we would also like to thank Abdi and Tasha of Texas Elite Hospice for taking such sweet care of our Mom and Dad in their last weeks.
You treated us like family and we will never forget your kindness.
And NORMA!!!! Thank you Norma Zapata for your friendship and companionship you provided our Mother with. She loved it when you "girls" would run the roads, going to lunch and Walmart. She dearly loved you, and we do too!
There have been countless people providing support and love during this difficult time. Thank you for your thoughts and endless prayers all these months. And your presence here today is truly a gift.
