Mary Lettra Falbo's Obituary
Mary Pellegrini Falbo- our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all, passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday June 30, surrounded by her loving family.
Mom was born in a little town outside of Pittsburg, Aliquippa Pennsylvania. There she met the love of her life, Mario, our father, and was married to him for 65 years until his death in 2013. She and Dad moved to Houston in 1963 when Dad started his employment with NASA. Mom was primarily a homemaker, always there for her children but as we started attending school, she worked part time for several years at Foleys department store.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Narcete and Ersilia Pellegrini, our dad, Mario, and by all eleven of her siblings. She is survived by her three children: daughter Ersilia Patton and husband Max, daughter Marie Wallace Berry, and son John Falbo and wife Annmarie.
Without a doubt, her grandchildren were by far her greatest joy. According to mom, there just was not enough time in the day to spend with her “sweethearts”. Her grandchildren are Stephanie Fosnight, Marc Collier, William Falbo, Jacob Falbo, and Christiana Bultedaob and her husband Daniel. Great grandchildren are Chelsea Bernico and husband Ryan, Brick Fosnight, Brock Fosnight, and the newest addition that mom was so excited to finally meet a month ago, baby Olive Bultedaob.
Mom was a devout Roman Catholic whose love of Christ was manifested in her kindness, compassion and generosity to others.
Our family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at the Atria Cypresswood. We are eternally grateful for the care, compassion and love you showed her. You were her second family. Thank You.
