Mary B. Delgado's Obituary
Mary Delgado of The Woodlands, passed away at the age of 101 on Friday, January 1, 2020. She died peacefully at her secondary residence in Austin, Texas surrounded by her loved ones.
She married Joe Delgado on December 30, 1951. In 1964 her husband and the family were transferred to Buenos Aires, Argentina and later Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil with Corn Products Company Intl.
Mary was very active with the American Women’s Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina and later became their Treasurer. In 1986, Mary and her husband returned to reside in Austin, Texas.
Mary is survived by three children and their spouses, Frances Delgado of The Woodlands, Texas; Cynthia and Bill Breed of Austin, Texas; and Rick and Rocio Delgado of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Taylor Metting, Bianca Breed, Danielle Breed, and Luke Breed. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 5 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77382. She will be buried at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
