Mary Helen Baxter's Obituary
Mary Helen Baxter aka Grandma, 88 of League City Texas, passed away April 25, 2023.
Mary was born in Crystal Springs Mississippi on June 14th 1934.
Mary was married to Harvey for many years and has waited almost 30 years to reunite with him.
Mary worked as a School Crossing Guard for Pasadena School District for many years and loved her kids she saw every day. She also loved to bowl and go to the Casinos. Prior to her husband Harvey passing they loved to take their Motor Home all over the country. Mary was a very sociable person and made anyone that met her feel like a part of the family. She considered all her friends family though.
Mary is survived by her son and wife, Bobby and Laura Walters, Grandsons Danny Walters and Yvonne, Donny Walters and Kellie. Great Grandkids Brody, Carter, Peyton and Colton Walters. Her sister Dorothy Spires and sister in law Jobee Smith. Numerous nieces and nephews including her so called adopted one Janice Spires. And many other friends that called her their Grandma.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Baxter, Mom and Dad, Lula (Bigmama) and Jim Smith (Granddaddy), brothers Cecil, Leroy, Clyde, Jimmy, Willie, And Bill Smith and Sister Hilda Dear.
