Marvin Keeton's Obituary
Marvin Keeton, age 89 of Pearland passed away on August 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife Jeannie, his daughters, Debbie, Denise and husband Mike, and Donna and husband James. His granddaughters Melissa, Simone, Danielle, and Jennifer, grandsons, Brandon, Jon Michael and James. His great-granddaughters, Hadley, Emily and Ella, and many other family and friends.
Marvin was born June 7, 1928 in Lykin, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his daughter Darlene, husband Joe Norvelle and granddaughter, Krystal. His brothers Chalmer Keeton, Hilma Keeton and Elmer Keeton, and his sisters Alva Patrick and Lula Zook.
He served in the Army and fought in the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pearland. He had a long career in the printing industry. Marvin’s favorite activities was to spend time with his family, gardening, fishing and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being completed by South Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 5PM-7PM and Funeral Service will be on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 12:30PM in the South Park Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be in South Park Cemetery after the Funeral Service.
