Mr. Marvin L. Johnson's Obituary
Marvin L Johnson, 74, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Pasadena, Texas. Marvin was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on July 15, 1938. He graduated from Lanyon High School in Lanyon, Iowa where he lived until he moved to Gowrie, Iowa where he was employed by Tommy's Meat Market and raised his family. He moved to Pasadena, Texas in 1979 where he worked in the oil industry until he retired in 2002. Marvin is survived by his wife, Arlene, his daughter Kathy Hollon and husband Michael, daughter Connie Scroggins and husband Val, daughter Cindy Lilly and husband Steve and daughter Ann Trimm and husband Mohamed Temnati and his sister Doris Culver and husband Larry. He was blessed with 8 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents Reuben and Beulah Johnson, and his son, Billy Kendall.
