Marvin is survived by his wife of 7 years, Betty Ashton; step-daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Gilbert, Tracy (Greg) Powell; step-sons, Dennis (Liz) Johnson and Chris (Virginia) Grossnickle. Along with 13 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
His sister, Irene Girling; sister-in-law, Ada Ashton; nephews, Mark (Karen) Girling, Robert Williams, Gerald Ashton; nieces, Sandy Gamble, Brenda Girling, Beverly O'Neil, Pat (Frank) Timmerman, Michelle (Neil) McKellar, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Marvin is predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Louisa Ashton; brother, Gordan Ashton; sister, Hazel Williams; his first wife, Mary Ellen Ashton; brother-in-law, Bill Girling and Phil Williams; nephews, Wayne Girling and Abby Gamble; stepsons, Robert Michael Johnson and Larry Steven Johnson.
