Mr. Martin M. Yanes Sr.'s Obituary
Martin M. Yanes Sr., 70, of Alvin, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Webster, Texas. Mr. Yanes was born on March 15, 1945 in Cuero, Texas. He was a lifelong musician and he loved his family and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Yanes was preceded in death by his parents Margarito Yanes and Rosita De La Cruz, brother Jesse De La Cruz and sons Eusebio Yanes and Martin Yanes. He is survived by his loving wife Maria C. Yanes, children Gloria Razo and husband Antonio Sr., Herlinda Yanes, David Yanes Sr. and wife Lou Ann, Leroy Yanes Sr. and wife Sulema, Beatrice Castillo and husband Ismael, Sammy Yanes Sr. and wife Cristal, Mary Alice Yanes and Martin M. Yanes Jr., siblings Jimmy Yanes, Delia Perez, Kathy Armenta, Gilbert Yanes, Louis Yanes, Robert Yanes, Ruben Yanes and Becky Yanes, 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Southpark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581 a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 110 E. South St., Alvin, Texas 77511 with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Southpark Cemetery.
