MARLENE FOX SCHLANG, 79, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was the 7th child and third daughter of Sam and Esther Fox of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Marlene had a generous heart. She had a unwavering love for animals. She rescued hundreds of animals over the years and always said that they were entitled and were God’s little children.
Marlene was full of life and young at heart. She loved taking trips to Las Vegas to see her daughter Giselle and see entertainment shows. She often made the statement that she had been to Las Vegas 33 times over the years and she loved it. Going to Las Vegas brought her great joy.
Marlene’s sisters are Annette Boydston of Newport Beach, California and Jean Sax of Melbourne, Florida.
Marlene’s brothers are Jack Fox of Austin, Texas and Nathan Fox of Dallas, Texas. Her brother’s David Fox and Bernie Fox are deceased.
Marlene’s daughters are Adrienne Mignonette Schlang of San Diego, California and Giselle Suzette Schlang of Bullhead City, Arizona. Marlene's husband was Norman S. Schlang, now deceased.
