My fondest memories are when we used to run the roads with the Matt and Nick when they were babies, we would go to the mall or other places and get all our shopping done. Our favorite place to eat was Piccadilly's Cafeteria at Almeda Mall afterwards. We would sit and eat the good food and talk and laugh, You always listened to to me and offered advice, I so needed that and for that I am forever grateful especially since I had lost my mother recently. Rest in peace my dear friend, Marilyn. I remember meeting you at the age o6 (1942) when I moved to pecan park . Walking home together from Southmayd Elementary. Years later we reconnected & resumed our friendship & started celebrating our birthdays with lunch together. Hers' was March 10 & mine March 7 , 1936 both born in St Joseph hospital in Houston. we would joke that we probably met in the hospital nursery.
I will always remember Marilyn with much affection & lots of good memories.
