Marie Yolande Leger's Obituary
Marie Yolande Louis Leger, 67, passed away on August 14, 2021 after a hard fought battle with a series of multiple illnesses. Marie was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on May 2, 1954. She graduated with a degree in General Education in June 1971 .She was married to Souvien Leger, on August 19, 1975. They were married for 45 years and had five sons, Ebenezer, Torrey, Abdolph, Daniel, and Samuel Leger. Marie served as a co-pastor most of her life. She was also a registered nurse in Haiti. She loved pagentries, preaching, teaching, and ministering over God’s people. She helped Souvien plant and start churches in Miami, Florida and in Houston, Texas. She was a servant of God and will be greatly missed. Marie is survived by siblings and her five sons: Ebenezer, Torrey, Abdolph, Daniel, and Samuel; and grandchildren – Isabelle, Noah, Samantha, Sophie, Tristian, Sebastian, Caleb, and Heru and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by Ledoimese Jean-Paptiste (father) and Charlot Louis (mother).
