Mrs. Marianne Ricci Wilson's Obituary
Mrs. Marianne Ricci Wilson, 91, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully, Friday, March 30, 2018 with her family by her side. Mrs. Wilson was born October 14, 1926 to Italian immigrants Giovanni and Mary Carmen Ricci. She married her husband Laurence in 1949. She loved languages, cooking, and creating her own outfits simply by looking at a dress in a store window. Her children were often dressed in matching outfits all made by her hands every Christmas, Easter or any other special occasion. She instilled a sense of creativity in all her children and loved passing on her rich family traditions, recipes, and family stories. Her Italian language and culture were very important to her. She leaves behind a legacy of raising 10 children who have loved and respected each other and will carry on the bond of family.
Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Wilson; son, John Ricci Wilson; daughter, Meredith Francis Wilson. She is survived by children, Hilary Wilson Mosty (Mark Mosty), Bridget Wilson Lee, Quentin Wilson (Kim Wilson), Germaine Wilson Casola ( Mike Casola), Allison Wilson Hailey (David Hailey), Kellen Wilson Shely (John Shely), Brendan Wilson (Joyce Wilson), Regan Wilson Takac(Paul Takac); grandchildren, John “Dubs” Mosty, Analaura Mosty McCrae, Camille Zarsky Jacobs, Bianca Vance, Marcus Baloutine, Ian Lee, Rhiannon Davis, Lauren Wilson, Cosimo Casola, Grace Casola, Bella Casola, Wilson Hailey, Zachary Hailey, Cameron Gregg Cho, John Gregg, Robert Wilson, James Wilson, Finley Takac, Peter Takac, Charlotte Takac; great-grandchildren, Joseph Mosty, June Mosty, Emerson McCrae, Sadie Davis, Moxuan Hailey, Reed Wilson, Emily Wilson, Jack Wilson, Ellis Wilson.
