Maria Francisca Eudelia (Penny) Ruel Hernandez was born on January 29, 1933 in Dilley, Texas to Adolfo and Enriqueta Ruel.
She married Marcelino Hernandez on February 3, 1952.
Penny was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to make people laugh. She was a great cook; she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Though we will no longer see her, we will carry her love and legacy in our hearts and memories forever. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Adolfo and Enriqueta Ruel; husband Marcelino Hernandez; daughter Nora Hernandez.
She is survived by her daughter Noelia Hernandez Espinoza (Antonio), sons Roel Hernandez (Elva), Ronnie Hernandez (Sonia), Romauldo Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez (Zandra), Omero Hernandez, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, Texas with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
