Just wanted to share a few memories of my Grandmother,I am the first grandchild and I am so grateful to have had many wonderful memories of her. My brother and I spent many summers and time with both of my grandparents. She was your typical Mexican grandma always making sure our bellies were never empty :). For every Christmas season my grandma always made tamales and everyone really enjoyed them. She was a women of many talents, she knew how to sew and She made me my first communion and prom dress. I will always remember how much she loved plants, she really did have a green thumb and could grow anything. I will always remember running around with her to run errands and we would take the bus and walk so much and I remember thinking how fast she would walk it seemed like she never got tired. One thing I will always remember about my grandma is, it didn't matter what age you are, its never to late to go to school. She always reminded me of how important it was to study. I thank God for allowing me to have many memories and time spent with both of my grandparents, even though I miss them dearly I pray that they are together again and that she is at peace.
