Mrs. Margaret Salinas' Obituary
Margaret Salinas went to be with the Lord and her husband on April 9th, 2015 in Pearland, Texas. She was a Charismatic Catholic who rejoiced in the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved joyful songs that praised God, and she was constantly in prayer for family and friends. She was active in the “Healing Ministry” and was a Third Order Carmelite. She loved working in her flower garden and browsing through plant nurseries. She always expressed a simple truth that was founded in Jesus’ teachings, and she loved being around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had an undying love for her husband Anthony Salinas, and she longed for the day to be reunited with him in heaven. She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony (Tony), her granddaughter Carol DeLeon, and son-in-law Jim Drab. She is survived by her four sons, Mikel, Jimmy, John, and Freddy; her daughters Rose Marie, Alice, and Helen, and their spouses. She was blessed with twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, who were influenced by her life. The family wishes to thank Sherry Pate, Mina Torres, and A’med Hospice staff, who helped us provide loving care for mom during her later years. Memorials, in her name, can be sent to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grade School, 6703 Whitefriars Drive, Houston, Texas 77087
