Mrs. Margaret Elaine Ciolli's Obituary
MARGARET ELAINE (SULLIVAN) CIOLLI
November 2, 1925 - May 21, 2011 Grandma "C", as all her grandkids & great-grandkids called her, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, Houston TX. As she left our earthly world, her devoted husband of nearly 67 years, Paul Ciolli, held her right hand while her left hand held her rosary. She prayed the rosary daily for her extensive family & those on her lengthy prayer list, including friends, neighbors & the world. She lived in Country Place, Pearland TX & was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manvel TX. Margaret graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1942; worked for the Federal Reserve in Houston & was a full time homemaker. She was a dedicated wife & mother who loved her family unconditionally & always put the needs of others before herself. Right up to her sudden, unexpected death, she & Paul were active participants in the daily lives of their family, including school & athletic events of grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Margaret was the daughter of the late T.C. (Sully) Sullivan Sr. & Ethel Thiel Sullivan; she was the younger sister of the late Tommy Sullivan & Alice Broadwell. She is survived by 5 children & their spouses, 16 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren: Caren & Tom Phillips, Paulette & Paul Ralph, Steve & Cathy Ciolli, Clayton & Lynn Ciolli, Ken & Kim Ciolli, Tommy, Roger, Brady, Travis, Rhonda, Barry, Steve, Doug, Paul, Jennifer, Andrew, Amy, Lisa, Stacy, Mark, Jason, Lindsey, Kristan, Zach, Brooke, Matt, Madison, Jorden, Emily, Luke, Owen, Alex, Elijah, Gavin, Lucca, Mikaela, Sydnie. Arrangements are by South Park Funeral Home, Pearland TX, where the family will receive visitors May 24 at 5:00 pm & pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be at the church, May 25, 10:30 am, followed by procession & burial at South Park Cemetery, Pearland. Pallbearers will be Margaret's 11 grandsons.
