Manuela Soto Moreno's Obituary
Manuela Soto Moreno, 83 of Houston Texas passed away peacefully at Memorial Herman Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Manuela was born on the 24th of September 1939 in Runge, Texas.
Manuela had been a Licensed Vocational Nurse at St Luke’s Hospital and then transferring to Thomas Care Center where she would later retire.
Manuela was a hard working and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law and grandmother. She is also a cancer survivor who fought tirelessly and won her battle against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She leaves behind a community of family and friends who will forever mourn her passing but cherish the memories of such a wonderful person. She left a lasting impression on people with her strong, independent personality and her kindhearted spirt. Manuela was never one to back away from a challenge which defined her character and allowed many to admire her. She was an outstanding cook and silenced a room with the aromas and dishes she would create in a kitchen. Manuela is survived by her loving husband Ralph Moreno, daughter Brenda Soto Moreno Paniagua and son Robert Moreno.
